Manager II, Config Deployments

As a Manager of Configuration Deployments, you will play a critical role in maintaining the reliability and scalability of Pinterest's core services. This position involves designing, implementing, and optimizing sophisticated configuration management systems that govern how application parameters and service settings are deployed across various environments. Key responsibilities include architecting CI/CD pipelines for configuration changes, adopting best practices like GitOps to ensure version control and traceability, and working closely with SRE teams to minimize deployment risk. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools, distributed systems, and a proven ability to handle high-volume, mission-critical deployments. You will be expected to mentor junior engineers, drive operational excellence across the team, and ensure that our infrastructure scales efficiently with user growth.
