Staff Platform Security Engineer (Security)

We are seeking a Staff Platform Security Engineer to significantly bolster the resilience and security posture of Phantom's core platform infrastructure. This role requires deep expertise in system design, threat modeling, and implementing defensive controls across distributed systems. Key responsibilities include auditing existing infrastructure for vulnerabilities, developing secure coding patterns for service-to-service communication, and driving the adoption of best practices in DevSecOps pipelines. You will work closely with SREs and backend teams to ensure that security is baked into every layer of the platform—from containerization to database interactions. Candidates must be proactive thinkers who can anticipate architectural weaknesses and implement robust, scalable fixes across our massive scale.
