Technical Program Manager, Custom Silicon Development

This highly technical role is responsible for guiding the program to develop and integrate custom silicon designed specifically for large-scale AI model training and inference. You will own the product roadmap and execution across mechanical, electrical, and software teams working on chip architecture and physical implementation. Key responsibilities include liaising between deep tech teams (e.g., circuit design engineers) and software framework developers to ensure optimal performance utilization of the new hardware. The ideal candidate must possess a strong understanding of semiconductor development cycles, AI computational requirements, and system-level integration challenges inherent in specialized silicon deployment. This position is critical for maintaining OpenAI's technological lead. The role offers flexibility (Hybrid/Remote) while being centered on one of the most advanced areas of computing today.
