Engineering Manager, ChatGPT Search Infrastructure

You will spearhead the engineering effort to build and scale the search infrastructure that powers ChatGPT's ability to retrieve real-time, grounded information. This role is deeply technical, requiring hands-on management of mission-critical services responsible for indexing, ranking, and delivering authoritative web data. Key responsibilities involve defining service level objectives (SLOs) for latency and reliability at massive scale, optimizing search algorithms against ever-growing datasets, and collaborating closely with product teams to define the user experience frontier.
