Protocol Officer

To manage and coordinate all aspects of protocol and diplomatic affairs with external entities, ensuring the company's reputation is upheld and strong relationships with stakeholders are maintained. Main Responsibilities: Policies, Processes and Procedures: Applies approved policies, processes, and procedures and monitors adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner. Day-to-Day Operations: Applies the day-to-day assigned operations to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures. Protocol & Diplomatic Affairs: Participate in planning, coordinating, and managing protocol activities for the company, including visits by foreign dignitaries, official delegations, and other VIPs. Liaise with government officials, diplomatic missions, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with protocol standards. Prepare briefing materials and presentations for senior management on protocol-related matters. Provide guidance and advice to company personnel on protocol matters. Participate in managing logistics for company-sponsored events, including official dinners and receptions. Conduct research and analysis to stay abreast of changing protocol standards and practices. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of protocol-related activities. Reporting: Assists in the preparation of timely and accurate reports in order to meet company and section requirements, policies, and standards. Safety, Health & Environment: Complies with all relevant safety, health, and environmental procedures to ensure a healthy and safe work environment. Additional Responsibilities: The post holder may be required to undertake additional duties which may reasonably be expected and form part of the function of the post. Academic & Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in International Relations, Political Science, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience. Languages: Minimum English language proficiency: KJO L4 – Intermediate
