Software Engineer – Navigation Engineer (Mensch)

Neura Robotics is seeking a talented Software Engineer specializing in Navigation to join our cutting-edge team. The mission of this role is to design, develop, and rigorously test robust and efficient autonomous navigation solutions for advanced humanoid and robotic systems. Key responsibilities include implementing Simultaneous Localization and Mapping (SLAM) algorithms, developing path planning strategies, and ensuring accurate real-time localization within complex dynamic environments. You will be working extensively with ROS/ROS 2 and low-level control logic in C++ or Python. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in robotics, controls theory, and computer vision. Qualifications include demonstrable experience with state estimation, Kalman filtering, and optimizing motion planning frameworks. This role is critical to advancing our core robot software platform, requiring excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative Agile environment.
