AI Scientist

Mistral AI is looking for a highly skilled AI Scientist to push the boundaries of artificial intelligence in Zurich. This role requires deep theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in developing novel ML models, particularly within the domain of large language models (LLMs) and transformer architectures. You will be expected to take ownership of challenging research problems, from literature review and hypothesis generation to rigorous experimentation and publication. Key responsibilities include designing state-of-the-art algorithms, optimizing model performance on complex benchmarks, and collaborating with engineering teams to transition research into scalable products.
