AI Scientist

We are expanding our scientific capabilities and seeking a passionate AI Scientist to join the Mistral AI team in Warsaw. This is an excellent opportunity to work on core aspects of modern generative AI, focusing heavily on research and development of sophisticated language models. You will be involved in all stages of the research lifecycle: defining novel problem spaces, designing experimental frameworks, implementing complex ML algorithms (like attention mechanisms or reinforcement learning), and ultimately contributing to high-impact publications. Key responsibilities include performance benchmarking, model efficiency optimization, and ensuring that our scientific output translates into tangible product advantages. A strong academic background with proven experience in advanced NLP/AI research is required for this critical role.
