Engineering Manager – Data Platform, Lakehouse Foundation

We are looking for a visionary Engineering Manager to own and scale our critical Data Platform and Lakehouse Foundation. In this leadership role, you will manage teams responsible for building the next generation of data infrastructure that powers Lyft’s analytics and product decisions. Key responsibilities include defining the technical roadmap, mentoring senior engineers, and ensuring platform scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency. You must have deep expertise in modern data architectures (e.g., Delta Lake, Snowflake) and experience leading large-scale data initiatives. Success requires a blend of strong technical acumen and exceptional people management skills to drive cross-functional alignment between Data Science, Engineering, and Product teams. This is crucial for maintaining data integrity across our entire ecosystem.
