Senior Software Engineer II - Data Engineering and Platform

LGAds is hiring a Senior Software Engineer II specializing in Data Engineering and Platform. You will be instrumental in designing, building, and optimizing the core data infrastructure that powers our advertising solutions. This role involves developing robust ETL/ELT pipelines for massive datasets, ensuring data quality, scalability, and reliability across various sources. Key responsibilities include working with distributed computing frameworks (like Spark), implementing sophisticated schema management techniques, and maintaining best practices in cloud architecture. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in Python and SQL, coupled with demonstrable experience building production-grade data platforms that handle petabytes of advertising data. Qualifications: Deep understanding of database systems and relational/NoSQL models. Proficiency in writing performant, optimized SQL queries. Strong scripting skills in Python for automation and backend development. Experience working with big data technologies (e.g., Kafka, Hadoop ecosystem) is highly desirable.
