Senior Security Engineer, Detection & Response

flexport is seeking a talented Senior Security Engineer to significantly enhance our Detection and Response capabilities. This role is critical in strengthening our overall security posture against advanced threats across global logistics operations. Key responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining robust detection systems using SIEM/SOAR platforms, developing sophisticated threat hunting playbooks, and managing the incident response lifecycle from triage through remediation. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in networking, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and scripting languages. You will collaborate with internal teams to integrate security controls into development workflows, ensuring rapid detection of anomalies and minimizing organizational risk exposure while operating in a fully remote environment.
