Safety Engineer - Free Tier Abuse

ElevenLabs is looking for a dedicated Safety Engineer to join our AI Safety team and mitigate threats related to free tier abuse. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and responsible scaling of our powerful text-to-speech technology. Key responsibilities involve designing, implementing, and monitoring advanced detection systems that identify patterns of misuse (e.g., scraping, unauthorized usage). You will work closely with product engineers to develop robust guardrails, abuse policies, and rate limiting mechanisms for free accounts while minimizing friction for legitimate users. Qualifications include experience in security engineering, proficiency in analyzing large datasets for anomalous behavior, and a strong understanding of scalable cloud infrastructure. This is a highly technical role focused on safeguarding our user base and technology.
