Solutions Architect - Hunter/Greenfield Pre-Sales

Databricks is seeking a highly motivated Solutions Architect to join our dynamic pre-sales team in the SF Bay Area. This role focuses on engaging with greenfield opportunities and new logos, requiring exceptional consultative selling skills and deep technical acumen across modern data stacks. Key responsibilities include understanding complex client business challenges, designing bespoke data cloud architectures using Databricks Lakehouse Platform components (e.g., Delta Lake, MLflow), and leading technical proof-of-concepts (PoCs). The ideal candidate possesses extensive experience guiding customers from initial concept to successful implementation, thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Qualifications include strong background in data engineering, cloud computing (AWS/Azure/GCP), and demonstrable success in a pre-sales or consultative capacity.
