A Finance Business Controller (FBC) is a Finance Partner who plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the finance department and business units within an organization by providing strategic financial oversight and control, analyzing financial data, ensuring accurate reporting, and delivering actionable insights to support decision-making. Support for budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, while ensuring compliance with regulations and internal controls to drive business unit efficiency and profitability- • Collaborate with the Operations team on annual capital and operating budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and analysis. • Work closely with the regional finance team to ensure proper execution of month-end and year-end closings. • Ensure transactions reflected in closings were valid and relevant to the respective periods. • Perform monthly reporting in standard formats within established deadlines and provided monthly, quarterly, and year-end updates, including outlooks. • Conduct necessary inquiries to explain variances between budgeted and actual figures. • Prepare year-end reports for the full financial year and provided future projections aligned with the Management's objectives and strategies. • Monitor and control information communicated by the financial advisor during the month and at month-end to forecast results for the corresponding months. • Conduct simulations, forecasts, and studies on corporate consolidated results to meet the informational needs of all concerned managers for financial and operational decision-making. • Collaborate with managers to develop and implement new documents, forms, or tools to facilitate and improve the reporting process. • Ensure the accuracy of the financial data submitted by the Operation Team. • Work with business units to manage and control costs. • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements. • Read and understand all customers' contracts and rental contracts, keep track of durations, values and highlight any financial opportunity or risk. • Provide financial education and support to non-finance teams. • Be prepared for any ad hoc task or request by the top management including the business and finance.
