Exam Day Time Management
A simple pacing plan for full-length timed papers so you never run out of time.
Pace early
Do not spend too long on the first few questions. Establish a steady rhythm and keep a time checkpoint every ten minutes so that you can adjust before it is too late.
Use the two-pass method
In the first pass, answer every question you find easy and mark the rest. In the second pass, return to the marked questions with the time you saved, which keeps easy marks from slipping away.
Protect the last minutes
Keep a few minutes at the end to fill any remaining answers and check your answer sheet. A calm final review prevents simple marking errors that cost easy marks.
