Founding Engineer

Fleetline is looking for a foundational engineer to help build our core platform and backend infrastructure in New York City. This role is critical; you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable systems that can support massive user growth. Key responsibilities include leading the technical stack decisions, writing high-quality, performant code, and collaborating closely with product managers to translate ambitious visions into reality. You must have deep expertise in system architecture—thinking beyond just features to how services interact at scale. While you will be hands-on building, your influence will extend to setting engineering best practices across the entire team. Previous experience launching B2B SaaS products or high-throughput services is a major plus. We are looking for problem solvers who thrive in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
