BASIC ELIGIBILITY: PhD degree from a HEC-recognized university / institution in a relevant research area in the humanities or social science; Having an excellent record of teaching and research; Will normally be at the level of Associate Professor or above. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: A maximum of 55 years of age on the closing date; Must be proficient in English; Familiarity with host country culture; Experience in mentoring, advocacy, communication, organizational, budget management, research grants. RESPONSIBILITIES: Engage with students and scholars on Pakistan's history, culture, people, and languages; Teach Urdu, Pakistan Studies, Pakistani literature, history, and society; Interact with academic community; Attend weekly seminars. PERKS AND PRIVILEGES: Pay, allowances, research funds, travel costs for fellow and family, visa costs, housing and rent provided.
