Software Engineer – Navigation Engineer (Mensch)

Neura Robotics is looking for a skilled Software Engineer specializing in Navigation to drive the advancement of our human-centric robot platform. This role involves developing sophisticated, real-world navigation systems that enable robots to operate safely and autonomously among people. Key responsibilities include implementing high-fidelity path planning (e.g., A*, RRT*) tailored for dynamic social environments, refining state estimation using sensor fusion techniques, and integrating complex behavioral models into the core robot software stack. You will utilize modern robotics frameworks like ROS 2. The successful candidate should have a solid academic or professional background in computer science and mechanical engineering, with hands-on experience in control systems and advanced pathfinding algorithms. The ability to translate theoretical knowledge of movement dynamics into robust, production-level code is essential for this role.
