Simulation Researcher/Engineer

Luma AI invites a brilliant Simulation Researcher/Engineer to join our Foundation Models team. You will be instrumental in advancing the simulation pipeline that underpins our cutting-edge generative AI technology. This role requires a strong academic background and hands-on experience building complex simulations—from physics modeling to data synthesis. A core part of your mission will involve developing novel, scalable simulation architectures used for training large foundation models. Key responsibilities include optimizing simulation fidelity, integrating new physical constraints into ML pipelines, and collaborating with research scientists. The ideal candidate has publications in top-tier AI conferences (NeurIPS/ICML) and expertise in tools like PyTorch or TensorFlow within a scientific computing context. This is a hybrid role based in the heart of Silicon Valley.
