Senior Machine Learning Scientist

Intercom is looking for a talented Senior Machine Learning Scientist to join our engineering team in Dublin. This role is critical in advancing the core intelligence capabilities of our platform, focusing on large-scale data modeling and predictive analytics. You will be responsible for the entire ML lifecycle—from ideation and rigorous hypothesis testing to model deployment and iteration in a production environment. Key responsibilities include optimizing existing models for better accuracy and efficiency, developing novel recommendation systems, and working with cross-functional teams (Product/Engineering) to define data needs. Ideal candidates possess a PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field, coupled with deep expertise in ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow. Strong background in distributed computing is highly desirable.
