Engineering Manager (Subscriptions)

We are looking for a highly skilled Engineering Manager to take ownership of our core Subscription services platform. This role is crucial for the reliability and scalability of Paddle’s revenue generation cycle. You will lead the team responsible for everything related to subscription lifecycles, including plan management, invoicing, proration, and payment integrations. Key responsibilities involve architectural design reviews, mentoring engineers on best practices in financial software development, and integrating complex regulatory compliance requirements. The ideal candidate has significant experience with multi-currency, recurring revenue models and payments infrastructure. Proficiency in modern backend languages and a deep understanding of how SaaS billing mechanisms work are essential. This remote role offers the chance to build mission-critical systems from the ground up within a leading FinTech environment.
